Wash Your Face With This DIY Face Wash For A Month And This Will Happen! (VIDEO)

Our skin accumulates a lot of dirt, bacteria, oil and sweat every day which can clog the pores and make it unable to breathe. These impurities are often the main reason for various skin problems, which is why you need to give your skin a deep cleaning every now and then.

Taking proper care of your facial skin is also important, meaning that you should wash your face with water 2-3 times a day to prevent the accumulation of the aforementioned impurities.

However, washing your face with those store-bought facial products isn’t exactly great for your skin. More often than not, these products contain numerous chemicals that can harm your skin and cause irritation which can lead to bigger problems.

This is why we suggest reading the label before you buy anything. Luckily, there are safer alternatives to these products which are cheap and will keep your skin refreshed and hydrated. Today we’re going to show you how to prepare a facial cleanser made of coconut oil and baking soda, two ingredients which can do wonders for your skin.

Health benefits of coconut oil

Coconut oil contains all the nutrients your skin needs and will also keep it hydrated. The oil has anti-inflammatory properties as well, and will regulate your facial skin’s pH balance. Topical application of coconut oil can deep clean your pores and remove all the impurities and chemical residue left behind by the use of commercial skin care products. Plus, the oil can enter your skin deeper than anything else thanks to its ability to bond to protein.

Baking soda

Baking soda has a mild abrasive texture which can remove dead skin cells from your skin and clean your pores deeply. It has amphoteric properties which makes it a great acne treatment, and will keep your skin’s pH levels balanced while also refreshing it.

Here’s how to prepare the remedy:

  • ½ a cup of raw coconut oil
  • ½ a cup of baking soda

Warm up the coconut oil until it melts nicely, then add the baking soda and mix well until you get a paste. Rub a bit of the paste on your face in small circular motions, then leave the mixture to dry off before rinsing with water. For best results, we suggest repeating the process 3 times a week.
