First you have to know how to cook these ingredients

The processing is very important so that they do not lose their healing properties. Garlic is best if used in two ways; raw or baked. Ginger on the other hand is most effective when steamed or powdered.

For the garlic-ginger soup you need the following ingredients:
  • A dozen  garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 26 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • add 1 and ¼ cups of sliced onions
  • ¼ cup coconut milk
  • ¼ cup ginger
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • 2 cups of vegetable broth
  • ¼ cup lemon or lime juice
Preparation method

Put the garlic cloves into a baking pan, add a pinch of salt and cover it with foil. Put the pan into a pre-heated oven. You need to bake them until they get tender and brown. You need about 45 minutes. Then you let them cool. After they are cold you need peel and smash the garlic cloves.

In another pan the butter is melted and onions, ginger, cayenne pepper and thyme are added. After nearly 6 minutes of cooking, add the pre-baked garlic cloves and continue cooking for 3 more minutes. Next, add the vegetable broth and put the lid on so that it can simmer for nearly 20 minutes. Finally, put it all in the blender and add coconut milk. Give it a simmer once more and add the salt and pepper.

It is recommended that this soup is prepared a day before the consummation. It should be stored in a fridge, and reheated before serving. Adding a lemon or lime juice will give it a better taste!
